Steinway - Upright Piano 1877

Keyboard compass:      85 notes 7 octaves

Keyboard covering:  New synthetic off-white naturals; original ebony sharps.

Cabinet:  Rosewood with solid oval panels (no grills) at top above keyboard and below keybed also.  One piece fall board doubles as music rack when opened.  To be refinished.

Dimensions: 59" wide,  47" tall

Action:  Early version of modern Steinway upright action.  Has tenor bridge with five notes on it.  ¾ cast iron plate with exposed pinblock.

Excellent instrument for someone with limited space but who wants a quality sound.  Beautiful rosewood case with hexagonal tapered legs on either side.  Very elegant, but refined, appearance.  Will function as a modern instrument.
