Cabinet: Hepplewhite style of mahogany & satinwood with intricate inlaid bdanding; oval metal enameled nameplate; four small (1 " square) tapered legs connected with a wishbone stretcher.

Cabinet: Solid mahogany case with simple ebony inlay banding.  Federal style with six small (3") tapered turned legs with brass collars.  Original wooden pedal and pedal leg.  Rosewood nameboard with brass inlay.  Refinished.

M. Clementi & Co

ca. 1815 - 1820

Cabinet: Original finish in excellent condition!  Mahogany with ebony inlay; square cornered all wood framed instrument.  Has six turned legs, four across the front with original brass casters; maple nameboard with grills and perfect name plate.

John Broadwoodca. 1819

Cabinet: Crotch mahogany with rosewood stenciled nameboard.  Has six turned and fluted legs with matching pedal leg.  Has two sheet music drawers; brass molding around bottom of case with brass medallions at the corners.  Mostly original finish.

Cabinet: Late empire style in crotch mahogany veneer and rosewood case has square corners and fluted tapered legs with carved elaborate ionic capitals. Has original brass casters. Replacement music rack and pedal leg.

Timothy Gilbert

1834

Cabinet: Beautiful crotch mahogany veneered case put on in geometric patterns at corners; has gold stenciling around bottom of case and all down the nameboard.  Small turned wooden urns on either side of keyboard on the cheek blocks.  (These are not just decorative; they are used to pull the action out of the piano.)  Straight tapered hexagonal legs with large turning at top and small one at bottom.  Folding slat style music rack which acts as a lid prop; also has lid props on either side inside case which raises top higher than music rack does.  One leg and pedal lyre are replacements.

1838 - 1840

Cabinet: Empire styling with crotch mahogany and rosewood veneer; rounded front case corners.  Hexagonal tapered legs with ionic capitals.  Nameboard has cutout fretwork grills.

1844
Cabinet:Beautiful rosewood case with all original finish in perfect condition.  Square front corners with recessed panels on each side.  Solid rosewood slat type sliding music desk.  Legs are massive 12 sided tapered with acanthus leaves around the top.

ca.
1845 - 1850

Cabinet: Rosewood with rounded corners; rather plain case, typical of this time period with 12 sided straight tapered legs.  Wide solid rosewood slat style music rack and replacement pedal lyre.

Cabinet: Rosewood case with rounded front corners; plain molding around bottom of case.  Octagonal curved tapered legs in rosewood; inverted pedal lyre.  The best rosewood veneer used in this cabinet.  Also has a very nice cut out music rack which acts as a support for the lid of the piano.

Cabinet: Rosewood with excellent original finish, Octagon curved tapered legs, cut out music rack, has mother-of-pearl inlay and painting on one piece name board - very intricate
