Key covering: 
Originals have been replaced; to be recovered in best quality synthetic off white; original ebony sharps.

Cabinet:
Case is covered with highly figured crotch mahogany veneer; nameboard is ebony with inlayed cursive brass letters.  Ornate open cut music rack and desk;  hexagonal tapered legs.  Some veneer to be repaired and refinished.  Has incised carving on sides of case.

Dimensions: 
6'-8" long,  55" wide @ keyboard

Action:
Typical late Viennese action with dampers overhead in a rack; una chorda (soft) pedal and damper pedal.

To receive a complete rebuild.  Beautiful cabinet with some inlay and carving.  Has composite cast iron plate with bolt on capo bar in treble; straight strung.  Has a graceful shape for a larger piano.  A well designed and good quality instrument of this period
