Dimensions: 34" x 72",  36 ½ " from floor to top of case.

Action: Early type square action with intermediate levers to lift hammer shanks; original hammers in good condition; overhead grand type dampers; two pedals: damper and moderator; pedals are painted black iron with a brass medallion on the end; they are decorated with gold trim and have mother-of-pearl inlays on them.

Immaculate condition of exterior and interior in good restorable condition.  Beautiful full cast iron plate inside with a music lyre and herald trumpet cast into it.  Obscure maker must have been a relation to Jonas Chickering; the design is very similar to Jonas's Chickering's firms instruments.  Low serial number but probably very few made and certainly very few exist today.
