Hazelton Brothers Square Piano

Keyboard compass:  88 notes 7 1/3 octaves

Keyboard covering: All original ivory and ebony sharps; boxwood fronts.

Key covering: New off white synthetic key covering.

Cabinet: Rosewood with stained and grained poplar cabriole legs and pedal lyre.  Scalloped molding around bottom of case;  two inch molding at top of case; cut out music rack; to be refinished.

Dimensions: 83" x 40 ½"

Action: Full heavy cast iron plate with extra braces in treble; has agraffe scale throughout with tri stringing in the treble.  Typical late square action and dampers with damper extensions in bass section.

A late American square piano that will finish into a very nice example of this era.  It is the largest size square piano typically built.
