fronts and ebony sharps. Cabinet: Rosewood with excellent original finish, Octagon curved tapered legs, cut out music rack, has mother-of-pearl inlay and painting on one piece name board - very intricate Dimensions: 76" wide, 36 ½ " in depth, and 38 " tall Action: Typical square action. Has overhead dampers in rack, but a little different than most. Cheek blocks glued to top and bottom keys. In very good restorable condition To be restored: Excellent original appearance, an internal restoration would put this instrument in very good playing condition, and it would represent a typical 1850's sound. Has very impressive look with the mother-of-pearl. Has black cast iron plate with hand painted flowers and other decorations and, it has a one piece bass bridge. |
