Cabinet:
Case is covered with highly figured crotch mahogany veneer; nameboard is ebony with inlayed cursive brass letters.  Ornate open cut music rack and desk;  hexagonal tapered legs.  Some veneer to be repaired and refinished.  Has incised carving on sides of case.

Light brown mahogany veneered with inlaid holly banding around bottom of case; ebony nameboard with inlaid brass letters for name; Three hexagonal tapered legs with turnings at the top and bottom with large brass casters; Maple veneer underneath lid and inside rim of case; Open carved music rack on movable music desk with wooden candle supports with original black velvet covering for lamp or candle.

To be restored: Unrestored; cabinet to be repaired and refinished, new music desk and rack, keys need to be re-covered, action rebuilt  and regulated, one piece cast iron plate with bolt on capo bar, piano is straight  strung, nameboard is ebony with inlaid brass letters, " A. Schreiber, Wein"

Mahogany with extra wide tail section with extra soundboard.  Even though this instrument is 4" shorter than a modern concert piano it actually has more soundboard area because of the extra width.  Has carved pedal lyre and carved cabriole legs. This piano can be finished in a dark mahogany or ebony.  Open carved  rectangular shaped music rack.
