A rare two manual melodeon built in 1857.

Cabinet: Beautiful early rosewood; has four octagonal tapered legs and wooden pedal lyre; brass pedals. Beautiful original finish.

Dimensions: 51 ½" x 26 ½", 33 ½' from top of case to floor.

Action: Double keyboard; 8' pitch on lower and 4' pitch (octave higher) on upper; one ivory stopknob controls upper to lower unison coupler; two pedals, right is bellows and left is swell (volume).

Unbelievable original appearance for something of this age. Interior in excellent restorable condition. These double manual melodeons are extremely rare with perhaps fewer than 100 being in existence today. It is a real museum piece.
